Am I weird if I prefer albums over singles?
Am I going crazy if I like to express myself creatively with a notebook & pen versus on an electronic device?
Am I too cool if I have fewer friends or too normal if I have too many?
These are just a few of the thoughts I've had travel in my brain on some days. Being normal for me feels like a 900 lb. rock I feel obligated to carry in order to comfort others.
How many of us have traded our uniqueness for comfort - the comfort of others?
To be a dreamer and/or imaginative machine is freedom. You and I were given our unique ways of thinking to make a positive social impact.
At age 14 I remember being told that I couldn't make a difference because most people won't change. Although this individual gave their perspective - I had mine.
I believe that I must be the change that I'd like to see - it begins with me.
We all have the power to change and our dreams are connected to this fact.
